Juneteenth

– The Natick Historical Society and Natick for Black Lives Matter will host a reading of Frederick Douglass’s “What to a Slave is the 4th of July” at 10:00 am on the steps of the Morse Institute Library – https://natickcenter.org/event/reading-frederick-douglass-3/
– The celebration continues with the Natick Center Cultural District’s Juneteenth event on the Natick Common from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. The event will include speakers with performances by The Drum Nomads, Crocodile River Music, Slow Boat, and Squeezebox Stompers. There will be activities and food! ASL Interpreting Services by The Learning Center for the Deaf and funded by a grant from Middlesex Savings Bank.  https://natickcenter.org/event/juneteenth-3/
– At 6:30 pm, the film “Black N Black” by local director Zadi Zokou will be shown at the Common St. Spiritual Center. http://ow.ly/Na3q50OG1v1
