Boston Comics with Tony V, Matt Barry, and Dave Decker
May 7 at 8:00 pm
Tony V started his stand-up comedy career in 1982 after attending several shows at Boston’s prestigious Comedy Connection. It was not long after that he took to the stage himself. Tony’s street wise humor tempered with a genuine feel for the human condition quickly propelled him to headliner status on the national comedy club circuit. In 1986 Tony V was named “Funniest Person in Massachusetts” by Showtime television.
Matt Barry has been a staple of the New England comedy scene for eight years. He’s performed in clubs, theaters, bars, and apartments. In 2013 he was crowned “New England’s Best Bar Comic” and in 2015, he took third place in “Last Comix Standing,” a competition between 120 comedians at Mohegan Sun Casino. He’s appeared on SiriusXM Satellite Radio and has opened for national acts including Tom Green, Gilbert Gottfried, and Harland Williams.
Dave Decker, a native of Massachusetts, performs regularly at clubs from Boston to New York City. Winner of the coveted Betty Crocker Award in 1975, Dave Decker brings his distinct point of view to the stage in a way that both engages and charms audiences. His intelligent and clever humor along with his definitive stage presence make him a hit for venues large and small.
