Welcome to the new year of Cookbook Club! This year, we’re cooking from around the world, trying to tie in a holiday from that region to our cooking! Today we’re celebrating the Jewish holidays, cooking from Jerusalem : a cookbook by Yotam Ottolenghi, Sami Tamimi!  With five bustling restaurants in London and two stellar cookbooks, Ottolenghi is one of the most respected chefs in the world; Jerusalem is his most personal, original, and beautiful cookbook yet.  This cookbook offers recipes from their unique cross-cultural perspectives including Charred Baby Okra with Tomato and Preserved Lemon, Braised Lamb Meatballs with Sour Cherries, and Clementine and Almond Cake.We’ll have copies of the cookbook at the library or you can order a copy of the book HERE
