Come experience and celebrate the artwork of Natick Public School students at Natick’s Sixth Annual Art Extravaganza on Thursday, March 15th from 5 to 9pm at Natick High School. The Extravaganza will showcase work from all the art disciplines: Choir, Band, Media Arts, Theatre, and Visual Arts, as well as Speech. Works will represent most grade levels (elementary – high school) and all eight schools (Bennett-Hemenway, Brown, Johnson, Lilja, Memorial, Kennedy, Wilson, and the high school). The evening is designed to illustrate the importance of the arts in our schools and celebrate the work of our students.

The event will begin at 5 with a reception in the library for the Elementary/ Middle School / High School Art Show. Performances begin at 5:10 in the library (HS String Group) then, later events begin the auditorium 6:00 (opening, a combined musical number including all the choirs showcased that evening) After a combined musical piece, multiple events will run simultaneously until the evening's close by 9pm.

The evening will feature: 4th grade Chorus from Bennett-Hemmingway and Lilja, representation from Kennedy and Wilson Choir, all four high school choirs, a High School Jazz Group, a band from Kennedy and a band from Wilson, Representative 4th grade classes from Brown’s rhythm ostinato, the Wilson Jazz Ensemble, theatre from both Kennedy, the high school speech team, the High School String Group, and visual art selections from all eight schools as well as  some interactive events (Video, TV, Game Design, Web Design, and Electronic Music).
